Accountabilities: Manage a dedicated portfolio of client accounts and support their payroll processing needs from submission through completion.

Engage with clients by phone and web to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve payroll-related challenges.

Provide technical guidance and support on payroll processing procedures, workflows, and best practices.

Manage the integration of client payroll submissions into the payroll software platform, ensuring information is processed accurately and efficiently.

Serve as a primary point of contact for employer and employee questions related to payroll.

Monitor multiple client payroll cycles simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and a high level of service.

Investigate payroll discrepancies and determine appropriate solutions while keeping clients informed throughout the resolution process.

Build trusted client relationships through responsive communication, proactive support, and a strong understanding of their payroll requirements.

Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling payroll and employee information.

Requirements:

3+ years of professional experience in payroll processing, payroll support, or a closely related function.

Hands-on experience with SaaS-based payroll software such as ADP, Paycor, Paylocity, or comparable platforms.

Strong understanding of payroll processes, procedures, and common payroll-related issues.

Demonstrated customer service skills and a genuine interest in helping clients resolve problems effectively.

Ability to manage multiple client payroll cycles and competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain payroll concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical users.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients.

Preferred: Experience in the construction industry.

Preferred: Exposure to certified payroll, Davis-Bacon requirements, or prevailing wage payroll.

Preferred: Experience in a PEO or ASO environment.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Benefits:

Salary: $50,000–$65,000 annually, depending on experience.

Fully remote position within the United States.
