Accountabilities: The Client Account Associate will provide hands-on accounting and bookkeeping support while partnering with internal teams to deliver reliable service to clients. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues.

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities and maintain accurate financial records for assigned client accounts.

Support a portfolio of small and midsize business clients by ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent accounting services.

Collaborate closely with Client Portfolio Managers and teammates to prioritize tasks, resolve issues, and maintain client satisfaction.

Communicate directly with clients regarding assigned accounting items, questions, and follow-ups.

Perform accounting tasks using cloud-based financial platforms and maintain organized documentation.

Review financial information for accuracy and identify discrepancies or areas requiring additional attention.

Assist with ongoing financial operations and provide insights that support client decision-making.

Proactively identify challenges, communicate risks, and contribute to solutions that improve service delivery.

Maintain strong working relationships with remote team members through effective collaboration and communication.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced accounting professional who combines technical bookkeeping expertise with strong communication and organizational skills. You should be comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating closely with clients and teammates.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline required.

At least 5 years of practical bookkeeping or accounting experience.

Experience using QuickBooks or similar cloud-based accounting software in a professional environment.

Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, financial processes, and accounting best practices.

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple client priorities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence interacting directly with clients.

Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage responsibilities in a remote setting.

Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support teammates and contribute to shared goals.

Authorized to work in the United States.

CPA certification is not required for this position.
