About the company

IMP Scandinavia is a Danish MedTech company, founded in 2020 as a spin-out from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). We make a single, reusable, calibration-free sensor that measures every core vital sign - blood pressure, oxygen saturation, pulse rate, respiration rate and peripheral temperature - continuously and wirelessly, to medical-grade accuracy, from the acute ward to the patient's own living room. The device is approved as Class IIb under EU MDR 2017/745 and our quality system is ISO 13485 certified by TÜV SÜD.

We are a team of around eight people with biomedical-engineering and AI expertise. Our vision is to empower healthcare professionals and patients with real-time insights for safer, smarter and more connected care - bridging hospital and home, enabling earlier intervention, saving nurse time and reducing prolonged hospital stays.

Your tasks

You will run IMP's day-to-day marketing presence: our website, our LinkedIn and the material our commercial team puts in front of clinicians, hospital management and partners. It is a hands-on role with a real audience - what you publish goes out under the company name.

There is a second thing you will learn here that most marketing internships cannot teach. In MedTech, every external claim has to stay inside what the device is approved to do; promotional material is reviewed before it is published. Writing material that is both compelling and compliant is a scarce skill, and you will leave with it.

LinkedIn Own our LinkedIn presence day to day: content calendar, writing and publishing posts, engaging with the healthcare community, and reporting on reach, engagement and follower growth.

Website Maintain and improve the site - copy, structure, landing pages, basic SEO and analytics. Keep it current as the product and the partner list grow.

Marketing material Produce the collateral the commercial team actually uses: one-pagers, brochures, reference and case material, and presentation and document templates.

Brand consistency Guard the visual identity - templates, image and asset library, tone of voice - so everything we send out looks like it came from the same company.

Events & conferences Support trade shows, congresses and webinars: material, logistics, on-site presence where relevant, and follow-up.

Demand generation Help run email and outreach campaigns and track the basic funnel metrics behind them.

Marketing compliance Work with our regulatory and quality colleagues so every external claim stays within our approved intended use. You will learn the review process from the inside.

Requirements

Essential

  • Student in marketing, communication, digital media, journalism or similar.
  • Hands-on experience, not just coursework: you have run a LinkedIn account, edited a site in a CMS, and built material in Canva, generative AI, Figma or Adobe.
  • Strong written English - clear, concise, no filler.
  • A good eye. You notice when something is off-brand, badly set or a pixel out.
  • Structured and self-driven: you will have autonomy and will need to use it.

Nice to have

  • Danish.
  • Basic video or motion graphics.
  • Google Analytics, HubSpot or a comparable marketing tool.
  • Curiosity about healthcare, MedTech or science communication.

What we offer

What you get out of it

  • A real portfolio. Published work with your fingerprints on it, not exercises for a drawer.
  • Ownership of our voice. You will be the person running our external presence day to day, with the co-founders a desk away.
  • An unusual credential. Experience marketing an approved Class IIb medical device under MDR.
  • Mentoring and a reference. Structured supervision from our Chief Commercial Officer, regular feedback and a written recommendation on completion.
  • A possible next step. Scope for a continued student position, thesis collaboration or a graduate role, subject to fit.
