Report Developer – Stock Trading System

Role Overview

The Report Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying reports for a stock trading system. This role involves working closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business teams to gather and validate reporting requirements.Understand data source mapping and transformation logic.
• Report Development: Design and implement ~100 reports using agreed tools and frameworks.Ensure reports meet documented business requirements and comply with BANK’S standards.
• Testing & UAT Support: Prepare test cases and validate reports during UAT.Address defects and implement fixes promptly.
• Deployment & Documentation: Execute production deployment following BANK’S change management processes.Maintain rollback plans and deployment documentation.
• Collaboration: Work with Bank’s teams for access to systems and environments. Provide regular updates and utilization reports as required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in report development for financial or trading systems.
• Proficiency in PySpark , SQL , data transformation , and ETL concepts .
• Hands-on experience with reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with stock trading workflows and financial data structures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues during UAT and production deployment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in credit pool model projects or time-based service engagements.
• Knowledge of Banks technical environment and compliance standards.
• 3-7 years of relevant experience in IT support.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Organized with a strong focus on following prescribed processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in IT development, preferably in banking or financial services with minimal 3 years of report development experience.
• Lead to have experience in leading a team of minimum 6 members.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across teams.
