Location: Suffolk, VA 23435 Start Date: Immediately Schedule: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and some Wednesdays | 6:30 PM – 10:30 PM Caregiver Rate: $15/hr
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide evening companionship and supervision for a female client in her 60s. The client resides in a home with two cats and requires gentle support during nighttime hours to ensure safety, comfort, and routine assistance.
Client Condition
Female, in her 60s
Requires supervision and support during the evening
Pet-friendly home (2 cats on site)
Care Responsibilities
Provide companionship and overnight presence during scheduled hours
Assist the client to and from the bathroom as needed
Provide timely medication reminders (non-medical)
Assist with getting on and off her bike in the evening
Ensure a safe, calm, and supportive environment
Ideal Candidate
Patient, attentive, and reliable
Comfortable working in a home with cats
Strong communication and observation skills
Prior caregiving or companionship experience preferred but not required
Able to provide respectful and supportive supervision
