We're recruiting for a Property Manager / Senior Property Manager to join a well-established and highly respected independent Estate Agency based in Loughton.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and knowledgeable property professional to take ownership of a residential lettings portfolio within a supportive, fast-paced environment. This position is open to candidates at different levels, from an experienced Property Manager through to a Senior Property Manager.
The Role
As a Property Manager / Senior Property Manager, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of residential lettings properties
- Act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants
- Coordinate maintenance works and liaise with contractors
- Handle referencing and the move-in process
- Conduct property inspections, check-ins and check-outs
- Manage tenancy renewals, extensions and rent reviews
- Handle deposits, dilapidations and tenancy-related matters
- Assist with landlord payments and property accounts
- Keep property management systems accurate and up to date
- Ensure all properties and tenancies remain fully compliant with current legislation
- Resolve complex landlord and tenant queries while delivering outstanding customer service
Property Manager / Senior Property Manager Requirements
- Minimum 18 months' residential property management experience
- Confident managing a portfolio from day one – this is not a trainee position
- ARLA qualification desirable but not essential
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, proactive and team-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
