Mechanical Engineer Vervaet is a growing, international company with approximately 200 employees. The company manufactures high-quality, self-propelled agricultural machinery and is located in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, near the Belgian border. Due to an expanded product range and increasing demand for technical documentation, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the team responsible for the mechanical design of our agricultural machinery. You will evaluate requests for design changes from various other departments. You will then develop the intended solutions in 3D and 2D using Autodesk Inventor. If the changes concern a large component, you will collaborate with other colleagues to complete all the steps from concept to prototype.

You enjoy doing the following: You will implement changes to existing 3D designs of our machines. You will provide concepts for entirely new designs for new parts or machines. You will be responsible for 2D documentation and parts lists for the assembly department. You will track problems in both production and after-sales and provide solutions. You will support the assembly department and the warehouse with questions.

You recognize yourself in the following: You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanics, or have acquired this level of knowledge through experience. You are knowledgeable about various production techniques and mechanical engineering. Experience in a similar role is a plus. You have experience with 2D and 3D design, preferably with Autodesk Inventor. An affinity for agriculture is a plus. You can work independently and as part of a team.

This is what you're looking for:

  • Gross monthly salary between €3,400 and €4,500 (depending on age and experience) in accordance with the Metal and Electrical Industry Collective Labor Agreement
