Role Summary

Gourmet Twist is seeking an experienced Technical Facility Manager to oversee facility maintenance, equipment reliability, utilities, and technical operations across our locations. The ideal candidate will ensure facilities and equipment operate safely and efficiently while minimizing downtime and maintenance costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of facilities, equipment, and utilities.
• Supervise technicians, artisans, and external contractors.

• Monitor electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and other critical systems.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and routine facility inspections.

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and technical emergencies.
• Maintain maintenance records, service logs, and equipment history.

• Coordinate repairs, installations, upgrades, and replacement of faulty equipment.
• Manage maintenance tools, spare parts, materials, and technical service providers.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and technical standards.
• Identify recurring faults, improve equipment reliability, and reduce maintenance costs.

• Prepare maintenance reports and recommend facility improvement measures.

Requirements

• OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree or relevant technical qualification in Engineering, Facility Management, Building Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in technical facilities or maintenance management.

• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
• Experience supervising technicians and managing maintenance contractors.

• Good troubleshooting, planning, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, safety procedures, and technical documentation.

• Ability to respond effectively to urgent repairs and operational disruptions.
• Experience in hospitality, restaurants, retail, manufacturing, or FMCG is an advantage.
