TV Anchor / Presenter

Responsibilities:

On-Air Presentation:

Anchor news bulletins, current affairs, and live programs Deliver news with clarity, authority, and professionalism Conduct interviews with guests, experts, and newsmakers

Content & Research:

Research stories, prepare scripts, and work with the editorial team Ensure accuracy, balance, and compliance with broadcast standards Engage viewers through compelling storytelling

Brand Representation:

Represent the station professionally at events and public engagements Collaborate with producers, editors, and reporters for seamless broadcasts Contribute to digital/social media content

Professional Development:

Stay updated on current affairs, politics, and trends Maintain excellent on-screen appearance and voice modulation

Requirements:

Degree in Mass Communication, Theatre Arts, English, Linguistics, Literature, or related field required Previous on-air/TV presenting experience is an advantage Excellent spoken English and communication skills Strong news reading, interviewing, and ad-libbing ability Good camera presence and confidence under pressure Professional, intelligent, presentable, and articulate Must be available for shifts including weekends and breaking news
