The Candidate
You are a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Specialist with experience managing international payroll in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. You take ownership of end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery across multiple countries. Comfortable working with payroll systems such as ADP, you handle complex payroll structures, bonuses and monthly changes with confidence. You communicate clearly, work discreetly with sensitive data, and enjoy collaborating with HR, finance and external partners to continuously improve payroll operations. You will be the main contact/coordinate with the external payroll providers across the countries.
The Role
As a Payroll Specialist , you are responsible for the end-to-end payroll administration for our employees across multiple countries. You ensure payroll runs smoothly, accurately, and in compliance with local legislation, while acting as a trusted point of contact for employees and internal stakeholders.
The role will consist of, but not limited to, the following actions on a daily basis:
Managing and processing international payroll
Support with audit
Overseeing and executing payroll operations with precision across multiple countries
Processing monthly payroll mutations
Acting as the main contact for employees regarding payroll and HR-related questions
Drafting employment contracts and HR-related correspondence
Liaising with pension funds, UWV and occupational health services
Ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee data
Ensuring compliance with labour laws, tax regulations and data privacy legislation
Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes
Managing bonuses and supporting complex payroll structures
The Requirements
In order to be considered for the role you will meet the following:
Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent; a Payroll Practice Diploma is a strong plus
2-3 years of relevant experience in payroll and HR administration in international companies
Experience with payroll and HR systems, preferably ADP
Strong numerical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Fluent in English, both written and spoken, working knowledge of Dutch required.
Discreet, proactive, flexible and confident in communication
Able to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team
Comfortable working in a multi-cultural, international environment
Able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Experience handling bonuses and complex payroll structures
