Process Engineer

Your tasks

• Develop, improve, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance product quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process development, and product transfer activities.
• Analyze production problems, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve process performance and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Prepare, maintain, and update engineering data, process specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
• Support customer audits and ensure compliance with company procedures and relevant industry standards.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Good command of English is required. Knowledge of Japanese (spoken, read, and written) will be an advantage.
3. Proven experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related position in the electronics or manufacturing industry.
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
5. Ability to communicate effectively with Japanese customers and cross-functional teams.
6. Knowledge of New Product Introduction (NPI), Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA, SAP, or ERP systems is an advantage.
7. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
