Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Data Centre & Server) - 12-Month Contract

Government Sector Manage and maintain the Bus ETA application infrastructure in data centre. You will own server health, system availability, patching, incident response, and disaster recovery for a mission-critical transport system. What you'll do: Manage physical & virtual servers (Redhat, VMware/Hyper-V)

Administer Container platforms (Podman) and PostgreSQL databases

Lead incident response, recovery, and root cause analysis

Manage data centre ops including UPS, server racks, environmental monitoring

Oversee patching, firmware upgrades, lifecycle management

Participate in 24/7 standby/on-call for critical incidents

What you need: Hands-on Redhat server administration

Experience with Container platforms (Podman or Docker)

PostgreSQL administration experience

Knowledge of VMware or Hyper-V virtualization

Familiarity with storage, backup, and data centre operations

Strong troubleshooting and RCA skills

Candidates supporting mission-critical or transport systems preferred

Work schedule: Mon-Thu 8:30am-6pm, Fri 8:30am-5:30pm. 24/7 on-call rotation.
