Head of Media Supply (f/m/x)

What are the main performance objectives in this role? AVOW's supply side - Media Buying and Media Partnerships - is the engine behind everything we sell. It's a ~15-person team split across Berlin, China, and Bangalore, run today by two strong team leads. As we push into new markets and deepen our OEM relationships, we're looking for a  Head of Supply to give that engine a single strategic direction and take it to the next level.

You'll take full ownership of the supply organization end to end: the people, the partnerships, and the P&L. You'll report directly to Robert, our CEO, and work hand in hand with Sales and CSM to make sure what we buy matches what our advertisers need.

Your role Lead and scale the supply organization: take full ownership of AVOW's supply side, spanning Media Buying and Media Partnerships (~15 people, two team leads reporting to you); develop, coach, and retain a high-performing, internationally distributed team across Berlin, China, and Bangalore; and set the strategic direction for supply — inventory growth, yield management, and diversification of our partner portfolio.

Own our OEM and supply partnerships: manage and deepen relationships with our premium mobile OEM partners; steer strategic supply-side initiatives across Google PAI, branding, discover ads, or any other special supply opportunity; and evaluate and onboard new supply and buying platforms, assessing their fit with AVOW's product and revenue strategy.

Drive commercial performance: own supply-side revenue targets, inventory yields, and margin optimization across the portfolio; monitor performance and traffic trends, translating data into clear optimization and growth decisions; and push for budget expansion, new market openings, and cross-selling opportunities with existing partners.

Build bridges across the company: collaborate closely with demand-side stakeholders (Sales, CSM) to align supply capabilities with advertiser needs; improve cross-functional processes and escalation paths between supply, demand, and tech; and act as the internal voice of supply in leadership discussions, representing AVOW externally with OEMs and industry partners.

What are the strengths, transferable skills, and behaviors that drive success in this role? A strong, unified organization: both supply teams operating under a clear structure with strong team leads, healthy workload distribution, and reduced single-person dependencies — backed by your proven experience leading, scaling, and coaching international, cross-cultural teams, ideally with team leads reporting into you. Deepened OEM and platform relationships: strengthened OEM and key platform relationships, with at least one new strategic platform or market opening initiated — drawing on hands-on experience managing and negotiating with premium mobile OEMs or comparable major platform partners. Measurable commercial growth: growth in supply revenue and inventory yields, with a more diversified partner and platform mix — supported by a strong commercial track record in yield management, margin optimization, and driving revenue growth on the supply side of ad tech. Smooth cross-functional collaboration: well-documented, seamless collaboration between supply and demand functions — the result of being a structured, process-oriented relationship-builder who represents the business as credibly externally as internally.

Two notes before you apply: We know that individuals who identify as women, trans, or non-binary tend to hesitate to apply for a role unless they meet almost all the requirements. If that resonates with you, we want to be clear: we're more interested in your potential than your ability to tick every box. Apply anyway. On compensation - at AVOW, pay is structured around a clear grade and level framework, with decisions based on objective criteria: your experience, qualifications, scope of responsibility, and role-specific requirements. We're transparent about how we make these decisions and will be discussing the details from our very first engagement.
