Your tasks
Al Marwan Group is looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to oversee and maintain quality standards across heavy civil and infrastructure projects. The role requires strong expertise in quality assurance, compliance with UAE regulations and international standards, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
The key duties and responsibilities of the QA/QC Engineer include, but are not limited to:
Develop, review, and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
Conduct daily inspections of earthworks, asphalt paving, concrete structures, excavations, and utility installations
Review and approve Method Statements, Material Submittals, and laboratory test reports
Identify quality issues, issue NCRs, and monitor corrective and preventive actions
Coordinate and oversee testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, steel, and other construction materials
Conduct internal quality audits and support ISO 9001 compliance requirements
Liaise with consultants, clients, and regulatory authorities during inspections
Ensure all construction activities comply with contract specifications, international standards, and UAE authority requirements
Prepare quality reports and maintain accurate project documentation
Support continuous improvement initiatives across project quality processes
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering 3+ years of QA/QC experience in heavy civil and infrastructure projects
Proven UAE experience with roads, bridges, and infrastructure works
Strong knowledge of UAE authority requirements and international standards (AASHTO, ASTM, ACI, BS EN)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Google Workspace and familiarity with project management/document control systems
