Cost Control Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cost Control Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing project costs, ensuring financial efficiency, and supporting timely project delivery. Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain project cost control systems to track expenses and forecasts. - Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow projections for construction projects. - Analyze and report on project financial performance and deviations. - Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to ensure cost control objectives are met. - Monitor subcontractor payments and contractor claims to ensure compliance with contracts. - Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend corrective actions. - Assist in risk management by highlighting financial risks and proposing mitigation strategies. - Prepare monthly cost reports and progress evaluations for senior management.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. - Proven experience as a Cost Control Engineer in the construction industry, preferably within the UAE. - Strong knowledge of cost control procedures, budgeting, and forecasting techniques. - Proficient in cost control software and MS Office applications. - Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work within diverse teams. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Familiarity with UAE construction laws, standards, and financial regulations is a plus.
