About the Role
Zentar Health and Social Care is currently recruiting experienced Domiciliary Care Worker to join our Community Team in Herefordshire , with flexible care shifts available to suit your availability.
We understand that not everyone can commit to long 12-hour shifts. Whether you have family commitments, are studying, already work part-time, or simply want to pick up additional hours, our shorter shifts can help you fit work around your lifestyle.
We currently have 4, 6 and 8-hour shifts available.
What You'll Do
As a Domiciliary Care Worker , you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals within community-based care settings. Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing person-centred care and support
- Supporting individuals with their daily routines and activities
- Promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing
- Building positive and professional relationships with service users
- Following individual care and support plans
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals
- Following safeguarding, health and safety and infection-control procedures
About You
You should:
- Have previous experience working in health or social care
- Be caring, compassionate and patient
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Be reliable and professional
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Have a commitment to person-centred care
- Be flexible and willing to work shifts according to service requirements
