MAINTENANCE CUM PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, plant and building facilities.
• Support troubleshooting and rectification of faults in production machines, equipment and building facilities.
• Perform routine maintenance, servicing and minor repair works as assigned.
• Assist with plant process troubleshooting and equipment inspections.
• Assist in improvement activities to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Provide support and backup for control room operations and production teams to ensure smooth operations when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting supervisor.

Requirements:

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, technical certification or relevant technical training in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting or repair work.
• Experience in a manufacturing or plant environment is preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive, responsible and willing to learn.
• Good safety awareness and able to follow work procedures.
