Local Market Representative – Agriculture & Irrigation
Fumao Water-Saving Irrigation is looking for a Local Market Representative in Kenya to help us develop the local agricultural irrigation market and build long-term relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop potential customers in Kenya, including farms, irrigation dealers, agricultural distributors, irrigation contractors and agricultural companies.
- Visit local farms, agricultural markets and potential business partners.
• Introduce and promote our irrigation products, including irrigation sprinklers, rain guns, drip irrigation products and related equipment.
- Collect customer requirements and market information and report regularly to our China headquarters.
- Follow up with potential customers and assist headquarters in quotations, negotiations and order follow-up.
- Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity records.
- All official quotations, contracts and customer payments will be handled directly by the company headquarters.
Requirements
- Based in Kenya and willing to visit customers locally.
- Good English communication skills.
- Experience in agriculture, irrigation, agricultural equipment, farm supplies or B2B sales is preferred.
- Familiarity with local farms, agricultural dealers or irrigation businesses is a strong advantage.
- Responsible, honest, proactive and able to work independently.
- Good communication and customer-development skills.
Cooperation & Compensation
• Initial 3-month trial cooperation period.
- Compensation includes an agreed basic allowance/salary plus sales commission.
- Additional incentives may be provided based on performance.
- Specific compensation and commission terms will be discussed during the interview.
