Job Summary Join our Finance & Accounts team as an Accounts Assistant to support daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. Fresh graduates and candidates with relevant qualifications are welcome. Responsibilities Process day-to-day accounting and finance administrative tasks to support smooth operations Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions accurately Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents following company policies Verify invoices against supporting documents and obtain necessary approvals to ensure compliance Enter financial data accurately into the accounting system to maintain up-to-date records Assist with bank, supplier, customer, and other account reconciliations to ensure accuracy Follow up on outstanding customer payments and support accounts receivable collection efforts Prepare payments to suppliers and process business expenses timely and accurately Maintain organized filing and documentation of financial and accounting records for easy retrieval Support monthly closing activities and assist in preparing financial reports for management review Prepare schedules and supporting documents required for internal and external audits Assist with GST-related documentation and submissions as needed to comply with regulations Liaise with suppliers, customers, banks, and internal departments to resolve accounting and payment issues Ensure all accounting records comply with company policies and Singapore regulatory requirements Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by the Finance Manager or Accountant Preferred competencies and qualifications Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field Familiarity with Singapore accounting practices and GST regulations Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills applied to accounting tasks Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data processing and documentation Good organisational and time-management skills to meet deadlines Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Effective written and verbal communication skills for liaising with stakeholders Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and company information
