small engine technician
VitalSine Inc is looking for an Individual who has Experience as a Small Engine Technician to perform Annual Preventative Maintenance Routines and Repairs on Cummins & Kohler LP/NG Reisential & Light Commercial Generators and Associated Transfer Switches in the Field @ Client Sites and in the Shop.
- The Successful Candidate must have a Diploma or Certificate in Small Engine Repair or Automotive Technician from a Recognized Post Secondary Institution
- Inspect, Diagnose, Troubleshoot and Repair small engines used in Residential & Light Commercial Applications
- Perform Scheduled & Emergency Maintenance Services such as Oil Changes, Tune-Ups & Troubleshooting etc on LP & Gas Generators
- Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts and components as necessary
- Test run new & repaired engines to ensure proper functioning
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
- Perform Startup & Commissioning of Permanently Installed Residential Generators
- Perform Warranty Repairs and complete all Associated Warranty Claims with Manufacturer
- Deal with Customers & Vendors in a Professional & Courteous Manner
- Deliver Equipment/Material to Clients & Job Sites
- Pickup Equipment/Supplies from Vendors
- Maintain an Efficient, Clean & Organized Work Area
- Must have a Valid Drivers License with a Clean Abstract
- Must be Reliable and work well alone & unsupervised
- Understand & Comply with all Company Health & Safety Policies & Procedures
- Conduct Inventories as Required
- Understand & Comply with all Company Quality Assurance Policies
- Computer Skills are an Asset
- High School Diploma
- Must be Bondable
- Successful Candidate will Receive ongoing Paid Training through Cummins & Kohler Generator Learning Academy both Virtual & In-Person
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
