You will serve as a Production Management Officer (Submarines) in the Naval Submarine Support Facility of NAVAL SUBMARINE SUPPORT FACILITY.

Major duties

You will provide expert advice and assistance in executing the daily routine of the command.
You will perform duties as acting Commander NSSF in his absence. This includes authorization to sign "By direction" on correspondence.
You will provide expert oversight for logistics, personnel readiness, medical, legal budget and civilian work force management.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the 13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: The incumbent must have expert knowledge, understanding, and experience in total I Level Maintenance, operations, trades and shop practices. Experience in all phases of nuclear and non-nuclear submarine repair and overhaul. Experience in nuclear submarine design, operation, and logistics support requirements, and maintenance policies and procedures. In depth budget experience with Navy appropriations. Expert knowledge of command, agency and DoD missions, functions, programs and history necessary to formulate, justify, and execute programs to support short and long-range goals and objectives.
