CLEANING OPERATIONS MANAGER

directs daily cleaning services, supervises staff, manages inventory, and ensures facilities meet health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Direct daily cleaning activities and assign tasks to meet contract agreements and service level standards.
• Staff Supervision & Training: Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate cleaning personnel, scheduling shifts to ensure adequate site coverage.
• Quality Control: Conduct routine site inspections and audits to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Inventory & Equipment: Manage stocks of cleaning products and tools, ordering replacements and ensuring equipment maintenance.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce regulations like COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and general workplace safety protocols.
• Client Relations: Respond to customer feedback, resolve complaints, and build long-term partnerships.
• Budgeting & Reporting: Prepare operational budgets, track labor and supply costs, and submit performance reports.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 3 to 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in commercial cleaning, hospitality, or facilities management.
• Knowledge: Expertise in cleaning chemicals, mechanized cleaning equipment, and safety rules.
• Skills: Strong leadership, organization, time-management, and communication abilities, plus basic computer proficiency for reports and scheduling.
• Education: High school diploma or a degree in business management , hospitality , or a related field.
