Inventory Officer

Responsibilities:

Monitor stock levels, track inventory movements, and maintain accurate records in the inventory management system. Receiving & Inspection: Inspect incoming deliveries for quality, accuracy, and damage; reconcile physical receipts against purchase orders and shipping manifests. Oversee the issuance and release of goods/materials to authorized departments or clients with appropriate documentation. Conduct regular physical stock counts, periodic audits, and cycle counts to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. Identify reorder thresholds, generate purchase requests, and collaborate with procurement to maintain optimal inventory buffers. Ensure goods are stored logically, safely, and efficiently in line with warehouse/storage guidelines. Prepare weekly and monthly inventory status reports, stock valuation summaries, and loss/shrinkage reports for management.

Requirements:

Minimum qualification of HND. 1 year of previous experience in a similar role. Computer literacy is compulsory. Experience in data entry is necessary. Gender: male.
