SEMH Education Roles - Lichfield

We are currently recruiting experienced education and support professionals for a specialist SEMH school in the Lichfield area .

This is a challenging but rewarding environment, supporting young people who may require a consistent, structured and relationship-led approach to education and behaviour.

We are looking for staff who are confident, resilient and experienced in working with complex behaviours , and who can remain calm and professional in challenging situations.

Experience with the following is highly valued:

• SEMH & emotional regulation needs
• Challenging and distressed behaviour
• ADHD & impulsivity
• Autism & ASC
• Attachment and trauma-related behaviours
• De-escalation and positive behaviour support
• Low confidence, anxiety and emotional difficulties
• Building positive relationships with young people

• Behaviour Support Workers
• Learning Support Assistants
• HLTAs
• ? Teachers & Cover Supervisors

We are particularly interested in candidates with previous experience within SEMH schools, SEND settings, residential children's homes, youth work, care or behaviour support .

The right candidates will be able to set clear boundaries, build trust, manage challenging situations and contribute positively to the wider school team .
