Mcr / streaming operations specialist

The PRO Company, and its' product PRO Play, is seeking an experienced MCR / Streaming Operations Specialist to manage the end-to-end delivery of live football and sports matches across the PRO Play platform and approved client destinations. The role covers receiving live feeds, managing SRT signals, converting and routing streams, publishing match streams to PRO Play, monitoring live delivery, and resolving issues quickly during matchdays.

Responsibilities Receive, test, monitor, and troubleshoot incoming live match feeds, especially SRT signals.

Convert, encode, decode, transcode, and route video signals for PRO Play and external clients.

Create, update, and verify the correct live-stream links for each match on the PRO Play platform.

Ensure streams are correctly assigned to the relevant match, competition, channel, territory, and approved client destination.

Monitor live video and audio quality, bitrate, latency, sync, buffering, black screens, signal loss, and playback performance.

Deliver streams through relevant formats and protocols, including SRT, HLS, RTMP, MPEG-TS, and other required workflows.

Check PRO Play playback before and during every match across web, mobile, and TV environments where required.

Manage backup feeds, alternate delivery links, failover procedures, and rapid signal switching During technical incidents

Support DVR or replay-related stream workflows where required, including verifying that approved playback links are functioning correctly

Coordinate with PRO Play’s technical, content, and commercial teams on match schedules,

feed details, stream links, client delivery, and urgent incidents.

•Keep clear matchday logs covering source feeds, stream URLs, client destinations, issues, actions taken, and final delivery status.

• Escalate technical issues immediately and recommend improvements to stream reliability,

monitoring, redundancy, and workflow efficiency.

• Native Arabic and good English(b2) is required for this role
• Proven experience in MCR, live broadcast operations, playout, OTT streaming, or sports

transmission.

• Strong hands-on experience receiving and delivering SRT signals.
• Experience with live signal conversion, encoding, decoding, transcoding, and stream routing.
• Good understanding of SRT, HLS, RTMP, MPEG-TS, stream latency, bitrate, codecs,

audio/video sync, and network-related streaming issues.

• Ability to work calmly and independently during live football matches and high-pressure

incidents.

• Experience with tools such as FFmpeg, OBS, vMix, Haivision, Wowza, Mux, AWS Media

Services, or similar streaming and monitoring platforms is preferred.

• Sports or football streaming experience is a strong advantage.
• Good English communication skills.
• Availability for matchday shifts, including evenings and weekends.
