Job Description
Yoga Gogo is seeking a friendly, confident and sales-focused Part-Time Studio Receptionist to support front desk operations, member enquiries and membership sales. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction and working in a wellness environment.
There will also be opportunities to cover yoga classes when our permanent coaches are on leave or sick. When covering a class during your reception hours, you will take on a dual role as both Yoga Coach and Receptionist.
Coaching classes will be paid separately in addition to the set receptionist salary.
There is also the possibility for the role to increase to 5 days per week, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM from January 2027.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Customer Service
- Greet members and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage front desk operations during assigned hours
- Handle enquiries in person, via email and social media
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised studio environment
- Support daily studio operations and assist coaches when required
Membership Sales
- Promote, explain and sell Yoga Gogo memberships and promotions
Yoga Coach (Secondary)
- Cover yoga classes when permanent coaches are unavailable
- Be available to coach during your scheduled 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM reception hours when required
- Manage both coaching and reception responsibilities when covering a class
- Coaching classes will be paid in addition to the set receptionist salary
Job Requirements
- Friendly, confident and customer-focused personality
- Comfortable with sales and member conversations
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Experience in customer service, sales, fitness or wellness is an advantage
- YTT (Yoga Teacher Training) certified
- Available every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
