Job Description: Chemist

Perform microbiological testing and analysis on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished hygiene nonwoven products to ensure quality and safety standards Prepare chemical compounds, reagents, and solutions for laboratory and production use Perform laboratory experiments and analyze results to support product development and process improvement Ensure compliance with quality management systems and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, GMP where applicable) Maintain accurate records, reports, and laboratory documentation Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals in accordance with safety regulations Implement and adhere to workplace safety and environmental standards

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology or a related field Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a microbiology laboratory (QC/QA) Strong analytical skills and ability to apply chemical principles Knowledge of chemical handling, laboratory safety, and environmental standards Proven experience working under strict quality management systems such as GMP, ISO 13485, or ISO/IEC 17025 Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and support continuous improvement initiatives
