Security Guard - Part Time

TerrAscend NJ is currently hiring for unarmed security guards for our medical marijuana dispensary for Union Chill. The primary responsibility for Security personnel is to ensure the safety of all patients and employees at the designated dispensary location.

Responsibilities: Monitor surveillance cameras to identify disruptions and monitor people in the dispensary.
Ensure that health, safety, and security standards are followed.
Perform safety and regulatory audits.
Welcome and check in patients, caregivers, and visitors at the dispensary.
Complete the required state-mandated training program.
Experience & Qualifications: Active NJ state Sora Card (Green or Red)
High School Diploma or GED required.
At least 1 year of security experience required.
Law enforcement or military experience preferred.
Bilingual or Multilingual is a plus.
Working Conditions This position may require the ability to perform essential functions that include, but are not limited to, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting. Team members may need to lift and move items, e.g., product packages, display cases, cash registers, or inventory boxes, weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. The role may also require visual abilities to accurately handle transactions, verify product information, and maintain inventory, as well as manual dexterity for handling cash, operating point-of-sale systems, and organizing products. Employees may be required to remain on their feet for extended periods and perform repetitive hand or arm movements with or without reasonable accommodation.
