Assistant Cost Consultant (ACMV / M&E Engineering)

Responsibilities  Evaluate tenders and quotations, including quantity take-offs and cost estimation for ACMV projects. 

Source and review pricing from suppliers and subcontractors to support project costing and procurement activities. 

Prepare cost comparisons, reports, and recommendations for management approval. 

Review M&E drawings, technical specifications, datasheets, and calculations to support project requirements. 

Assist with ACMV design works, including duct sizing, heat load calculations, and engineering drawings. 

Provide technical support to engineers and assist with project administration and contractual matters. 

Prepare AutoCAD drawings and support design-and-build project proposals, monitor project costs and perform cost control activities throughout project execution. 

Requirements Diploma/Degree/Postgraduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines. 

Experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, or ACMV/M&E engineering will be advantageous. 

Knowledge of M&E drawings, ACMV design, technical specifications, and construction processes. 

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD. 

Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
