FOOD MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR

Job Summary
Supervise and lead production teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations, meet quality and productivity targets, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of production schedules
- Lead, train, and motivate production operators and technicians to achieve operational goals and enhance team performance
- Monitor production output, quality standards, and productivity targets to maintain high operational performance
- Coordinate manpower allocation to meet operational requirements efficiently and optimize resource use
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, workplace safety, and quality requirements to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Investigate production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve problems and prevent recurrence
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maintain equipment reliability
- Collaborate closely with Production Planning and other departments to align production activities with business needs
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation for operational transparency and traceability
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce wastage in production processes
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma, NITEC, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in food manufacturing or related industries
- Strong leadership and people management skills demonstrated through team supervision and motivation
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities applied to production challenges
- Ability to work independently and manage pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with workplace safety and quality management practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation
