ELECTRICIAN

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and factory equipment.

Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical installations.

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in machinery and equipment.

Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

Carry out electrical wiring, installations, and modifications as required.

Test electrical components and systems to ensure proper functionality.

Maintain electrical tools, equipment, and maintenance records.

Ensure electrical installations comply with relevant safety standards.

Work closely with the production and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues.

Identify potential electrical hazards and recommend corrective action.

Support planned maintenance schedules for factory machinery.

Requirements

Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering.

Valid electrical trade certification/licence where applicable.

2–5 years of practical experience , preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Experience working with industrial machinery and electrical systems.

Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults independently.

Good understanding of electrical safety procedures.

Experience in a steel/metal manufacturing factory is an added advantage.

Ability to work flexible hours when required, particularly during production emergencies.
