Restaurant Manager (Omakase)

Restaurant Manager  Introduction:  A renowned Japanese restaurant with a coveted 2-year waitlist in Japan is bringing its exceptional woodfire yakitori to Singapore in partnership with Ebb & Flow Group.   We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operations of the restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service. This candidate will play an important role in creating a positive dining experience for our guest while leading and motivating our service staff.  Key Responsibilities:  Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, as well as the service team members in the bar, retail counters and floor 

Provide leadership and clear direction for the service team to ensure smooth restaurant operation by training, guiding and providing assistance when needed 

Maintain trust and support with team members at all levels to promote a positive work culture, promptly resolving any potential conflicts within the team 

Develop plans to source potential business and collaboration opportunities that improves guest experience and drive sales 

Assist in setting quantitative and qualitative goals for the restaurant to achieve targets 

Collaborating with the management and HQ teams to develop the brand and business 

Closely coordinate with the culinary team members to ensure timely delivery of orders 

Champion health and safety standards within the restaurant, ensuring that operations are in compliance with all relevant regulations 

Qualifications:  Experience in pre-opening operations is a bonus 

Exceptional communication and leadership skills  

Ability to converse in Japanese is an added plus but not compulsory  

Strong business and people acumen including strategic planning, operation management, talent management, P&L reporting 

Consistent track record of employment in hospitality-related leadership role
