Senior Odoo Functional Consultant / Implementation Lead

We are looking for an experienced Senior Odoo Functional Consultant / Implementation Lead to work remotely on Odoo ERP implementation projects for our customers. The consultant will be responsible for managing the functional side of Odoo projects from requirements gathering through configuration, testing, training and go-live. Responsibilities: Gather and analyze customer business requirements.

Understand and document existing business processes.

Configure Odoo modules according to customer requirements.

Perform gap analysis and recommend appropriate Odoo solutions.

Lead implementations from requirements gathering through go-live.

Prepare functional specifications for required customizations.

Coordinate with Odoo developers on integrations and custom developments.

Conduct system testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Support data migration and validation.

Train customer users and prepare functional documentation.

Provide go-live and post-implementation support.

Recommend standard Odoo functionality whenever possible to minimize unnecessary customization.

This is a remote freelance/project-based position with the possibility of ongoing projects and long-term collaboration.

Minimum 4 years of hands-on Odoo implementation experience.

Proven experience delivering complete Odoo projects from requirements gathering to go-live.

Strong functional knowledge of Accounting & Invoicing, CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory/Warehouse and POS.

Experience with Odoo Enterprise and/or Community editions.

Strong understanding of ERP and business processes.

Experience in requirements gathering, gap analysis and functional specification preparation.

Experience with UAT, data migration, user training and go-live support.

Ability to communicate functional requirements clearly to developers.

Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills.

Good written and spoken English.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Odoo certification is an advantage.

HR/Payroll experience is an advantage.

Knowledge of APIs and third-party integrations is an advantage.
