Few decisions ask as much of us as choosing a home.  It is where much of life takes shape: where children might grow up, how everyday routines might feel, and what a family can build with the money they have worked hard to save. The stakes are too high to rely on sales pitches and first impressions alone. A beautiful home can still be the wrong home. The price may stretch a family too far. The layout may no longer work in five years. A promising location may come with trade-offs that are easy to miss during a viewing. At Stacked, we believe people deserve to understand those trade-offs before they decide.  Since 2017, we’ve published more than 900 articles and 150 condo reviews, reaching around 500K+ readers each month. Our research and firsthand observations help readers look beyond the listing and think more clearly about the life and financial choices behind it. About the role As Visual Editor, you will shape how Stacked’s stories are seen and understood across our articles and social platforms. You will find the visual idea within a story, decide how best to bring it to life, and create work that makes people stop, look and want to know more. You will also be the editorial team’s guardian of visual quality to help ensure that the images and graphics we publish are accurate, purposeful and recognisably Stacked. You will have the judgement to recommend a stronger visual approach, question a weak choice and refine work before it goes live. AI will be a core part of how you work. You will use it to explore concepts, generate assets and speed up production, then bring your own judgement and design skills to the finished piece. You will decide when an AI-assisted illustration serves a story, and when a photograph, chart, map or floorplan comparison would do the job better. You may come from editorial design, digital media, publishing or a content-led brand. You do not need to be a property expert on day one, but you should be curious about the choices people make around their homes.
