About the Role

As an Accounts Payable Associate at Spot, you’ll play an important role in keeping our business moving. You’ll help ensure our carrier partners are paid accurately and on time while supporting the processes that allow us to bill our customers efficiently.

This isn't just a data entry position. You’ll take ownership of assigned accounts, work with modern document-processing technology, solve payment questions, and communicate directly with our carrier partners. What You’ll Do

Audit and process carrier invoices accurately and efficiently.

Review, classify, and validate documents using our document processing technology.

Take ownership of assigned accounts and help ensure payments stay on track.

Serve as a point of contact for carriers and assist with payment questions and account issues.

Provide friendly, professional, and solutions focused customer service.

Work collaboratively with teammates and other departments to resolve issues and keep freight payments moving.

Manage a higher volume of phone communication on designated days, typically 20–30 calls, two to three days per week.

Develop a strong understanding of Spot’s Accounts Payable processes and the transportation industry.

Qualifications:

High school degree or GED.

Associate's degree in business or accounting/finance is preferred.

2+ years of A/P or billing experience; experience in a logistics or third-party organization is a bonus.
