*Responsibilities*

• Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, with precision and safety awareness.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Load and unload freight using loaders and other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and secure placement.
• Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material movement to support construction or logistical projects.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage efficiently across multiple tasks or project phases.
• Maintain detailed logs of equipment operation, maintenance activities, and freight movements for record-keeping purposes.

*Skills*

• Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders.
• Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safe loading/unloading techniques.
• Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshoot mechanical issues on equipment.
• Valid commercial driver?s license (CDL) or equivalent license preferred for transporting equipment or materials.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
