Chief Finance Officer

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function and provide strategic financial guidance to the management team.
The CFO will oversee financial planning, reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, risk management and corporate governance, while working closely with the CEO and senior stakeholders to support business growth and long-term financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the company's overall financial strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO, management and shareholders.
- Lead the finance function and establish effective financial policies, processes and internal controls.
- Monitor the company's financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning.
- Monitor revenue, costs, profitability, cash flow and working capital.
- Prepare financial analysis, management reports and business performance dashboards.
- Identify financial trends, risks and opportunities to support management decision-making.
Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely management accounts and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, tax requirements and statutory obligations.
- Work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, banks and other professional advisors.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Manage the company's cash flow, liquidity and working capital.
- Oversee banking relationships, payments, investments and financing arrangements.
- Develop appropriate cash management and treasury strategies.
Risk Management & Governance
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls and risk management processes.
- Identify financial, operational and compliance risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and corporate governance requirements.
Business & Investment Support
- Evaluate new business opportunities, investments and major commercial decisions.
- Conduct financial modelling and investment analysis where required.
- Support M&A, restructuring, financing and other strategic projects.
- Partner with business leaders to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline .
- Professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent is preferred.
- At least 15 years of relevant finance and accounting experience , with significant experience in a senior leadership role.
- Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, reporting, cash flow management and corporate finance.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial information into practical business decisions.
- Excellent leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Korean is preferred to facilitate effective communication with Korean-speaking stakeholders and senior management.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
- Experience working with shareholders, investors, family offices or high-net-worth individuals would be an advantage.
