Role

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Conveyancers and Solicitors, providing support across a broad range of Residential Property matters. This opportunity would suit a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal , Conveyancing Assistant or Legal Assistant with some previous property experience who is looking to develop within a progressive and supportive law firm. The role offers exposure to the full conveyancing process, including client contact, file management, exchanges and completions, while providing a strong platform for longer-term development within Residential Property.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting fee earners with a varied caseload of Residential Conveyancing matters
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and other third parties by telephone, email and in person
  • Preparing correspondence, legal documentation and standard conveyancing forms
  • Opening new matters and maintaining accurate client records
  • Assisting with exchanges and completions
  • Supporting the progression of transactions from instruction through to post-completion
  • Managing diaries and ensuring key deadlines are met
  • Maintaining client files in accordance with regulatory and internal quality standards
  • Updating legal databases and case management systems
  • Assisting with searches, enquiries and general file administration
  • Providing a professional and responsive service to clients throughout their transaction
  • Developing technical knowledge through ongoing training and practical experience
