Ophthalmic Investigation Technologist (Main Centre)

An Ophthalmic Investigation Technologist supports ophthalmologists in conducting various eye examinations that are crucial for diagnosing and treating patients' eye conditions.

Job Descriptions: Work under the directions of ophthalmologist to assist in the diagnosis of ocular conditions Conduct a range of ophthalmic tests for different conditions, such as glaucoma screenings, pre-operative cataract assessments, and other investigative procedures. Handle administrative tasks, including maintaining inventory and ordering medical supplies. Perform maintenance and calibration of diagnostic testing equipment. Maintain patient records, including medical history and test results Demonstrate the ability to meet required investigation competencies in a fast-paced environment Job Requirements: Minimum Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Technology or equivalent, entry Diploma level are welcome Strong communication and interpersonal skills Essential qualities include discretion, confidentiality, and attention to detail Enjoys working with patients Basic knowledge of eye anatomy is beneficial but not mandatory, as on-the-job training will be provided Willing to be deploy to other satalite clinics when required
