Baseball High Performance and Events Executive
The Singapore Baseball & Softball Association (SBSA) is seeking an organised and proactive individual to support our baseball national team programmes and deliver tournaments and events. You will work closely with coaches, athletes, team managers and partners to help create the conditions for our teams to train, compete and improve.
Key Responsibilities Baseball High Performance Operations - Coordinate training and competition activities for national and age-group baseball teams.
- Arrange training venues, equipment, friendly matches and athlete support services.
- Manage competition entries, athlete registrations, accreditation and selection administration.
- Coordinate approved overseas travel, accommodation, insurance and team logistics.
- Maintain athlete and programme records, and support coaches’ post-competition reviews.
- Work with the Pathway Manager to support athlete progression into national squads.
Tournaments and Events
- Plan and deliver assigned baseball competitions and SBSA events.
- Coordinate schedules, venues, officials, volunteers, equipment and communications.
- Support competition compliance, safety arrangements and post-event reviews.
- Assist with facility readiness, equipment inventories and maintenance coordination at the National Training Centre.
Administration and Stakeholder Coordination
- Prepare activity budgets, track expenditure and process procurement and claims with Finance.
- Support grant applications, athlete assistance submissions and programme reporting.
- Liaise with coaches, athletes, parents, clubs, schools, committees and external partners.
- Provide regular progress updates and follow through on outstanding actions.
- Apply SBSA’s policies on safeguarding, athlete conduct, travel and financial approvals.
What We Are Looking For
- A diploma in sport management, business, events or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in sports administration, team operations or event delivery.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage several activities and deadlines.
- Clear communication skills and confidence working with athletes, coaches, parents and partners.
- Sound administrative skills, including spreadsheets, budget tracking and record keeping.
- A proactive, dependable approach and willingness to support practical work on the ground.
- An interest in athlete development and high performance sport. Knowledge of baseball or softball is an advantage.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends, and travel overseas when required.
