Company Description She Rise Initiative is a faith-led girls’ development organization committed to helping girls discover their identity, build healthy confidence, and grow in wisdom and practical life skills. The initiative focuses on supporting girls as they develop a meaningful relationship with God and become purposeful young women. She Rise Initiative provides safe, age-appropriate spaces where girls can ask honest questions, develop their gifts, and make wise decisions. Through school outreach, mentorship, community engagement, media, skills development, and transformational experiences, the organization ensures girls are seen, heard, guided, and equipped to rise.

At She Rise Initiative, we believe girls need more than occasional encouragement. They need truth, guidance, practical tools and opportunities to grow into purposeful young women.

And meaningful content can be one way we reach them.

We’re looking for Volunteer Content Creators who want to use their creativity, ideas and storytelling skills to support our mission.

Role Description :

The Volunteer Content Creator – She Rise Initiative is a Volunteer hybrid role based in Lagos State, Nigeria, with flexibility for some work-from-home tasks. The individual will create and curate content for digital platforms, including social media, newsletters, and outreach materials that reflect the organization’s mission and values. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching relevant topics for girls’ development and faith-based empowerment, drafting and editing written content, repurposing program materials into engaging formats, and collaborating with program and media teams to align messaging. The role also involves supporting campaign planning, documenting events and outreach activities, and helping maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels. The Volunteer Content Creator will participate in occasional on-site meetings, outreach events, and team sessions in Lagos while completing other content tasks remotely.

Captions, and Thought-provoking social media posts Short-form video ideas and scripts for Instagram and TikTok Carousel concepts that teach, encourage and invite reflection Content around identity, faith, confidence, relationships, wise decisions and purpose Stories and educational content that help girls learn and grow

Who should apply?

You might be a good fit if you:

Enjoy writing, storytelling, brainstorming or developing content ideas. Can communicate ideas clearly and creatively. Care about the growth, wellbeing and development of girls. Are willing to learn, receive feedback and collaborate with a team. Want to use your skills to contribute to meaningful work.

You don't need to know everything already or have years of professional experience. We're open to people who are still developing their skills and are willing to learn, contribute and grow with us.
