Quantity Surveyor

Preparing budgetary cost estimates, pre-quotation estimates, and pre-tender estimates for maintenance-related works and services, including Addition & Alteration (A&A) works. Preparing, drafting, reviewing, and amending specifications for quotation and tender exercises, including submission of draft documents to the Authority for review, vetting, and approval. Coordinating and attending site visits, site briefings/show rounds, and addressing queries from interested contractors during quotation and tender exercises. Verifying and evaluating quotations, including star-rate items, and preparing recommendations for the Authority's approval. Reviewing maintenance requirements for new or renewed contracts and incorporating the necessary requirements into tender specifications. Managing and administering contracts throughout their lifecycle, including documentation and compliance requirements. Settling final accounts with term contractors within two months after contract expiry. Reviewing and certifying contractors' progress payments. Monitoring and tracking maintenance expenditure against approved budgets. Preparing maintenance budgets to support cost allocation, forecasting, and financial planning.

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma or higher qualification from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in quantity surveying, contract administration, tendering, and procurement.
