Safety Officer (Professional Level)

1. Monitor and advise the company to ensure compliance with occupational safety, health, and working environment laws and regulations.
2. Conduct job safety analysis, identify workplace hazards, and develop appropriate preventive measures and safe working procedures (JSA/SOP).
3. Conduct safety, occupational health, and working environment risk assessments.
4. Review work plans and projects and recommend appropriate safety measures before work begins.
5. Conduct workplace and operational safety inspections to ensure compliance with established safety plans, procedures, and requirements.
6. Provide safety guidance, coaching, and training to employees.
7. Investigate and analyze work-related accidents, injuries, occupational illnesses, and unsafe incidents, and promptly report findings and corrective/preventive actions to management.
8. Collect and analyze safety statistics and data, prepare safety reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.
9. Provide employees with knowledge and awareness of occupational and environmental health risks, both during onboarding and throughout employment.
10. Perform other safety-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field as required by Thai law. Registered as a Professional Safety Officer with the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare (DLPW). Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in occupational safety, health, and working environment. Experience in heavy machinery, automotive, construction, mining, or related industries will be an advantage. Good knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, risk assessment, and accident/incident investigation. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to prepare safety reports, documentation, and presentations. Good command of English for workplace communication. Chinese communication skills will be an advantage. Valid driving license and willingness to travel to service centers, customer sites, and other provinces as required. Strong communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to intervene and take corrective action when unsafe acts or conditions are identified. Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to maintain safety records and statutory documentation accurately. High level of responsibility, with the ability to handle emergency situations and work effectively under pressure. Proactive and safety-minded, with the ability to identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate preventive and corrective actions.
