Operation Specialist

Obtain freight rates and quotations from shipping lines and carriers.

Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines and logistics partners.

Negotiate freight rates and service terms whenever possible.

Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, manifests, and related documents.

Create and submit SI accurately and on time.

Prepare and process Telex Release requests and coordinate with shipping lines.

Follow up on bookings, vessel schedules, and shipment status.

Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, and internal departments to ensure efficient shipment execution.

Resolve operational issues and provide timely updates to clients.

Ensure compliance with shipping line requirements and international shipping regulations.

Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree (preferred).

1+ years of experience in freight forwarding or shipping operations.

Good knowledge of sea freight procedures and shipping documentation.

Experience dealing with shipping lines and international agents.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.

Good command of English (written and spoken).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
