Job Role Overview

This position plays an important role as tradenet declarants and to ensure timely declaration of custom permits.

We are seeking a meticulous and self-driven individual with an ability to work independently. The individual should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, team player and willingness to go for the extra mile. Individual should also be open minded to adapt to tasks assigned beyond its main responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and submit TradeNet declarations for import, export, and transhipment permits accurately and within stipulated timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Customs regulations, relevant government agency requirements, company policies, and internal procedures.
  • Perform ACES submissions for Cargo Manifest Declarations accurately and within the required timelines.
  • Prepare operational, permit, and management reports as required.
  • Collect payments from customers for GST, ACES, Certificates of Origin (COOs), and permits, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide timely and professional customer service and support, including responding to customer enquiries and assisting with operational issues.
  • Liaise with customers and relevant internal or external parties to clarify documentation and resolve issues relating to permit and trade documentation.
  • Support the team in maintaining adequate operational coverage, including assisting with work allocation and roster arrangements when required.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the CEO or Manager from time to time.

Requirements

  • GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent.
  • Relevant working experience with knowledge of customs TradeNet declaration system.
  • Possess Customs Competency Test for Declarants certificate will be an advantage.
  • PC literate with proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • A good team player with a positive and cooperative attitude.

Working Location & Salary

Working Location: East - Changi Airfreight Centre

Working hours: Monday to Friday, either 8:30am to 5:30pm OR 10:00am to 7:00pm Saturday, 9:00am to 2:00pm

Salary Package: From $2,800 per month + AWS + Variable Bonus
