Shipyard Welder

Location: Rauma or Helsinki, Finland

Employment: Long-term

Join major shipbuilding projects involving naval vessels and icebreakers.

Your duties

MIG/MAG (135/136) and MMA welding

Hull and module construction

Welding in vertical and overhead positions

Visual inspection and quality control

Requirements

Previous shipyard, offshore or heavy steel construction experience

EN ISO 9606-1 welding qualification

Ability to work in demanding welding positions

Good English communication skills

Salary and employment terms

Employment generally follows the Technology Industry Collective Agreement. Typical monthly earnings range from€3,000/month, with additional compensation available through shift work, overtime and project-related allowances.
