STEWARD

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Steward to support the smooth operation of our restaurant by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. The Restaurant's Steward plays a key role in ensuring that all utensils, cookware, dishes, and workspaces meet hygiene and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, storage, dishwashing, and waste disposal areas. Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing supplies and inventory. Remove trash and recyclables and ensure proper waste management procedures. Replenish cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when stock is low. Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations. Maintain organized storage areas for kitchen equipment and supplies. Assist in setting up and breaking down kitchen and dining areas as needed. Perform other duties assigned by management to support restaurant operations.

Qualifications/Requirements: Qualifications: Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is an advantage but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to cleanliness and detail. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [weight requirement] pounds/kilograms. Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Good teamwork and communication skills.
