*Responsibilities*
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and preventive care.
- Assist in diagnosing periodontal issues and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix.
- Support the dental team with chairside assisting during procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics cases.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions, scheduling follow-ups, and ensuring a positive experience.
*Requirements*
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations.
- Experience with Tracker dental office software
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on compassionate patient care.
