Legal Counsel

An international organisation is looking for a Legal Counsel to join its European legal team in Zug for a 12\-month maternity cover.

This is a broad, hands\-on role offering exposure to a variety of legal and regulatory matters across a complex multinational business.

The role

You will provide practical legal advice across areas including:

• European regulatory and compliance matters
• Commercial contracts and negotiations
• Employment law
• Responsible sourcing and supply\-chain topics
• Corporate affairs and reputational matters
• Sustainability, HSEC and human rights

You will work closely with legal colleagues and cross\-functional stakeholders across Europe.

Your profile

• Swiss Qualified lawyer / bar admission
• 3\-5 years of post\-qualification experience, gained in\-house and/or in private practice
• Broad legal experience across commercial, regulatory, employment or sustainability\-related matters
• Fluent English plus German or French
• Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, energy or similarly regulated environment is an advantage
• Pragmatic, collaborative and comfortable managing a varied workload
