Are you a Field Service Engineer, Commissioning Engineer or Maintenance Engineer looking for a technically interesting role where you can take real ownership of problems, work on specialist equipment, and develop your skills through structured internal training and shadowing experienced engineers?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing specialist engineering business, working on a mix of installation, commissioning, service and technical support projects across the UK and internationally, with clear scope to progress as the company continues to expand.

You will be joining an established, solutions-focused engineering company (20+ years, 40+ staff) known for delivering high-quality equipment into a wide range of industries. Due to continued growth and ongoing projects, they are now looking to add another engineer to their specialist team.

In this role you will install and commission equipment at customer sites, diagnose mechanical, electrical and control-system faults, and carry out service, repair and upgrades on industrial machinery and fluid handling systems (pumps, valves, pipework, sensors, pressure/flow control, dosing and metering).

When not travelling, you will be based from the Saltash facility supporting testing, calibration and continuous improvement.

This role would suit a Field Service / Commissioning Engineer from an industrial machinery or process equipment background, looking for technical variety, increased responsibility and long-term development in a growing specialist business.

The Role:

• Installation, commissioning, service and upgrade of specialist industrial equipment
• Fault finding across mechanical, electrical and control systems
• UK and international travel (regular overnight stays), with time based from Saltash when not travelling

The Person:

• Field service/commissioning/maintenance background on industrial machinery or fluid handling/process equipment
• Experience with systems incorporating pumps, valves, pipework, sensors and pressure/flow control (or similar)
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel internationally with overnight stays
